▶ Artists

PROPAN
Propan is the Norwegian experimental vocal duo of Ina Sagstuen and Natali Abrahamsen Garner, making music through the use of their voices alone. For over a decade the two have been pushing the limits of the human voice as far as possible, exploring territories unique and surreal and resulting in very physical, captivating and at times unsettling musical results. Even the limits of what is physically possible with their voices is toyed with and manipulated further through the use of effects, creating impossibilities adding to the magical element of their music.

ELLEN ARKBRO
Ellen Arkbro is a sound artist and composer from Stockholm, currently living and working in Berlin. Her work is primarily focused on precison-tuned harmony for just intonation and meantone temperament, implemented in often minimal compositions written to interact with the space they are performed in. Having primarily composed for and performed on pipe organ, Arkbro's work also includes pieces for many other forms of instrumentation, including work for combinations of acoustic instruments, electronics and space. At west she will be performing a new solo piece for trumpet and electronics.

BÉGAYER
Taking from French Chanson, folk music of the Alps, old and new text from French, Italian and Arabic, and accompanied by modified radio transistors, old electronics sewn together with instrument ruble to create personal and unique musical devises, and their by now characteristic and compelling use of percussion, Bégayer have gained a reputation as a very unique, unpredictable and exciting live act, exploring musical and linguistic heritage in a very personal and compelling way. All the above culminate in a timeless expression of culture, technology and comradely, where old and new are as indistinguishable as their balance between composition and improvisation.
