Thank You Johannesburg comprised of an action whereby Simon Gush convinced Abrie Fourie, the curator of the arttsi run gallery, Outlet, in Pretoria, South Africa, to frame and install a certificate he had received during the first Johannesburg Biennale in 1995. The certificate was awarded to Fourie for having participated in a trainee curator program. He was awarded a grade of B.
