HOOGTIJ #86 AFTERPARTY
Afterparty HOOGTIJ #86 at West Testforum
West Testforum hosts the afterparty of HOOGTIJ #86. Come by to visit Textura and show some dance moves after. With DJ Zohar!
Tonight we celebrate 'Textura' With Mina Calori, Lila Maria de Coninck, Ael Diet, Fabianna Flores Sanchez, Hara Ghan, Lawrence McGuire, Omid Nemalhabib, Soyun Park, Anna Schmitz & Wiebke Stadtlander
Textura is an international transdisciplinary project by West Den Haag that approaches art from a philosophical and theoretical perspective. Philosophy is not used as an explanation of art, but as a method for questioning existing concepts, shifting boundaries and inviting new insights. The diverse backgrounds and working methods of the artists are not brought together under a single definition of art. Rather, it is precisely the coexistence of different artistic, literary and intellectual positions that forms the starting point of Textura.
We are part of HOOGTIJ where you can visit more than 20 locations in the inner-city of The Hague: from white cube to underground; from established art in galleries and institutions to installations and performances in artists initiatives. Free entrance.
Percussive and pulsating, DJ Zohar is known for a razor-sharp and highly dynamic club-signature. With years of formative experience controlling dancefloors, the artist behind Zohar has been treading a diverse and eclectic musical path in which rattling low-end and rhythmic tension can be regarded as the common denominators. Known for technical refinement and meticulous mixing skills, Zohar now intuitively seeks innovative and surprising connections, both disorienting and exciting listeners in the process. Zohar has quickly become a mainstay in the vital Dutch scene, and has played a mix of obscure and experimental festivals, alongside bigger name institutions, each time skilfully adapting her sets while remaining very true to her intentions.
